As terracotta is naturally porous, it’s unsuitable for holding water but is perfect for faux flowers or greenery.  If this pot is exposed to weather, moisture may seep through and, over time, cause the paint to bubble or flake. Any affected areas can be touched up using fine sandpaper and outdoor spray paint to freshen up the pot.
